Jeremy Wetmore

Jeremy Wetmore

Managing Partner & Founder

Jeremy founded Wetmore Consulting Group in 2019, bringing senior management experience from businesses operating across the U.S. and abroad. An entrepreneur who has formed more than 20 operating entities, he believes in a collaborative, organized approach to business and clear lines of communication that build a strong, lasting company culture. He has consulted on behalf of company owners, banks, financial institutions, private equity investors, and trade organizations.

After earning his BA from Bradley University in 2003, Jeremy joined Illinois Tool Works (ITW), a multinational manufacturer with more than 600 subsidiaries. As Account Manager, he sold primarily to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 integrators and managed global accounts for the ITW Delpro Division.

He went on to Belden Universal, a manufacturer of precision machine parts for the aerospace and high-performance machine markets, first as Sales Manager and later as Sales & Production Manager. At Kalle USA, a subsidiary of Kalle GmbH, he served as National Accounts Manager and Product Category Manager, growing domestic and international business with multinational accounts including Kraft Heinz, Tyson, and OSI.

Jeremy also co-founded WP Properties LLC, a multi-family property development company, where he serves as President.

He is married and lives in Chicago. His most important role is being a father to his son.

Adam Schweickert

Adam Schweickert

Partner

Adam joined Wetmore Consulting Group in late 2019 and is now a partner, focused on operations and process. He works directly with key employees to understand what is actually happening inside a business, then designs and integrates solutions that streamline day-to-day execution, giving owners the visibility, control, and peace of mind to run their business effectively.

He began his career at a private wealth management firm serving high-net-worth families. Over four years, he built the processes and procedures that set the firm up for long-term growth through targeted acquisitions of financial practices and partnerships with local healthcare institutions, helping it grow from three to thirteen employees and double its assets under management.

In 2018, Adam joined Urban Acres Real Estate, the leading residential brokerage in Iowa City, to lead operations and niche market expansion. He rolled out the systems, processes, and strategic direction that grew gross sales from $7.2M to $14.9M between 2018 and 2019, and implemented EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System) to bring structure to a traditionally chaotic industry.

With clients, Adam believes in establishing trust and credibility early, and having a little fun along the way, by generating small wins that build momentum. He finds it most rewarding when a client realizes that what got them here won’t get them to the next level.

Adam holds a finance degree from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Originally from Peru, Illinois, and a proud alum of Saint Bede Academy, he lives in downtown Chicago with his wife.
